For the last 8 weeks or so I’ve been pretty quiet as I took some time to look at my life, my marriage, my calling to preach the gospel, etc. and really do some examining. Yes, I resigned my post at Living Stones Church. I will be forever grateful to God for the opportunity to serve there and more than that, I’m thankful for some of the friendships I’ve made along the way.

Many of you know about my deep love for Little Five Points/East Atlanta. I’ve felt called to love and serve that community since I was about 22 years old. I grew up going to punk rock shows there, skateboarding there, and hanging out with ATL's finest Rastafarians. In fact, my dad and I used to grab lunch at the Vortex (unreal burgers) or Savage Pizza and then hit Wax n' Facts record shop regularly. Fond memories. Lovely neighborhood.

So, the Early’s are moving back to the Dirty South this summer! One day, God willing, I hope to plant another church in that is focused on sharing the great love of God and power of Jesus to change lives in that neighborhood. That’s still a way’s off at this point, but that is my hope and what I believe we’ll see come to pass.

I love you all and I’m so thankful to have so many friends who love me and support me and my precious bride, Jana. She is a phenomenal woman of God who has stood by me through thick and thin. I could not be more thankful for our marriage and ministry that we get to do together, namely in the home with our children.

Stay tuned… And stay reminded that there’s nothing that can ever separate you from the love of God. Absolutely nothing. Cheers.
